This was a great course, and to be honest it was the only one I looked forward too. I enjoyed working on the projects, even though they keep me up at night once in a while, but it was worth it.
Thank you Franci for being patient and understanding. It was great having you as a professor.

"Get up & Go"
I have finished my video and i am very pleased with it, although there are always room for improvement but just looking at it overall, I am satisfied with the message/story it unwraps. I didn't want to make an overpowering statement that would make my viewers think I was treated unfairly because I wear a scarf, but rather for them to realize that I'm not different, I am my own person, so are thousands of others who wear scarves.
I am also pleased artistically. I like how I took my topic which was personal and political in a way, and have made it cheerful and playful. what do I mean by that?! well, just in general its not serious. It also goes back to my target audience, 12-30 years old females. They are cautious of the world around them and are in the age of finding themselves and are curious.
I also want to thank everyone who helped me out with suggestions, advices and ideas!!! You know who are you :)

Moi Je Joue | Me I play
Just came across this song. The rhythm and beat is so playful and cheerful, I think it'd do well with my video, but its french + she sings alittle more than I'd like. I'm still looking around. If anyone has something to share with me that sounds similar to this, please do!

The story:
At first, people are shown wearing the scarfs in various ways in different parts of the world (headscarf, fashion accessory, belt etc).. then suddenly their scarfs begin to get loose and fly away. Coming from different parts of the world, the scarfs get together at the end and go to the location where they were first made, a factory.
I sit tight, I hang on
I need you to need me
lost like rain on open skies
So soft, so suddenly
Now I’m back where I started

Ro.sar.e
Rosare (farsi) = scarf
Idea:
A scarf traveling around the world, making stops at various locations to depict how scarves are used in different cultures/regions in the world. For instance, in Iran a scarf would be used as a headscarf, whereas in Italy its seen more as a fashion accessory--an individual would wear it around their neck. Some countries I've considered so far include India, Canada, Spain and of course, Iran & Italy.
Approach:
Minimalistic line drawings, photo collage, some script symbolic of each culture.
Sound:
Not sure how exactly I want to incorporate voice overs but I have my music set for the band The American Dollar, The Slow Wait (2).
I am beyond excited. I can't wait to bring my idea alive!
